Construction & Layouts

The manufacturing of our Coastal Motorhomes entails the latest revolutionary RV construction. We use the ‘Sandwich Board’ technique in the walls, roof and rear panels of the motorhome. The ‘Sandwich Board’ technique is where a number of layers are bonded together under vacuum.

Vacuum bonding eliminates de lamination while making the panels incredibly strong. Coil aluminium is used as the exterior instead of individual sheets which gives a sleek finish without joins. Aluminium has been tested with time as being a great exterior for motorhomes and caravans which stands up to all seasons and conditions in NZ. Insulating foam is used between the frame and outer layers of the panels which helps control the temperature within.

Internal Construction

The internals of the motorhome are carefully planned and customized to suit spacious and comfortable living.

All of the cabinetry is hand made with the final colour chosen by the owner and is finished with a native timber trim.

European windows are used with built in blinds and screens. Large roof vents are fitted for excellent natural light.

The latest RV equipment and appliances are fitted with some extra state of the art features including the Automatic Satellite tracking dish, LCD TV, built in cabin heating, solar panel charging system and large capacity AGM batteries for auxiliary power.

There are generously sized water tanks with a Gas/240V Hot Water Service which supplies the Galley and the spacious bathroom with a separate shower.

All of the above features coupled with the revolutionary construction and a unique paint job are combined to create a exquisite home away from home for the motorhome enthusiast.
